I got my HSBC Mabuhay Miles two years back in the hopes that I could travel using the points I’ve earned through my spending. Its my way of justifying the card swipes I made through the years. After two years, I’ve earned just enough points to travel to, at most, Hongkong by myself. But then again, I’m married and my husband insisted he come using points as well.

Airphil Express: New Destinations Four Sale

Philippine Airlines: Independence Sale to Tagbilaran

For 12 days starting June, Philippine Airlines is offering promos and treats to its clients in a countdown 12-day to June 12, Philippine Independence Day.  Today, June 4, avail of their Tagbilaran flights for only Php612 all-in fare for travels until September 30 this year.  While Bohol is a one of those places of historical value to Filipinos, it is now a fast-becoming tourism landmark.  I suggest visiting Panglao, just a few hours drive from Tagbilaran where you can find the white stretch of sand and cool Alona beach.  Best spot to stay is Amorita, a villa-type resort along the beachfront.
